Windows firewall or policy manager does something funny with the upnp and causes nat to become strict. essentially performing a down-up command on the ethernet card Or by unplugging the ethernet connection going into my laptop then reinserting. restarting the firewall with the simple command i could easily fix this by doing one of two things. i know this because i would stop getting clients as host, and if i restarted the mw2 program my nat would be strict.
